We will only email you billing information and account activity notifications. These may include:
- Notification of sent emails. For example, we'll let you know when a scheduled email campaign or RSS email has been sent. We'll also let you know when the test period for an A/B test is complete, and which version won.
- Account activation and authentication emails
- Disabling Two Factor Authentication
- Notification of login from a new device
- Password reset emails.
- Spam complaint warning emails.
- Billing information, such as:
- Invoices, please note that if you have set the client to pay for themselves, invoices will be sent to the client's primary contact.
- Payment errors like credit card declines or insufficient fund notices.
- Reminders to top-up email credits (if you use them).
Please note:
- We will never request payment or account information from an email we send.
- Shared logins are against our terms of use. If you are using a shared login, you may receive many emails relating to your account that you did not initiate. To prevent this and to ensure better security of your account, we recommend using unique logins for each user.
You can optionally sign up for our newsletter. Each month you'll get an update with the latest tips on email marketing and information on what's new or improved with Campaign Monitor.
Change who your account emails are sent to
With the exception of emails for account activation, logins, password resets, or new subscriber notification emails, all other account emails, like those mentioned above, are sent to the primary contact. When there is more than one administrator you can choose who you want as the primary contact.
New subscriber notifications
Subscriber notification emails give you an immediate overview of who your audience is, where they're from, and how signups are performing over time.
You can choose to receive new subscriber notifications in one of two ways:
- Notify me instantly — You'll receive an email every time a new subscriber signs up to the lists you select.
- Send me a summary — You'll receive an email with a summary of your new subscribers at a frequency of your choosing:
- Daily
- Weekly (sent on Monday at 8am in your client's time zone)
- Monthly (sent on the first day of the month at 8am in your client's time zone)
By default, administrator accounts do not receive new subscriber notifications, but if you give someone access to a client they will automatically be sent weekly updates. They'll need to update this setting from their own account to turn them off.
Notification emails are only triggered when a subscriber signs up, or one-by-one API requests. Importing subscribers from a file will not trigger the notification, and the emails in that list will not be included in the notification's subscriber count.
Turn new subscriber notifications on/off
To change your new subscriber notification settings:
- Click Lists & subscribers, then click on a list.
- Select Settings in the left menu.
- Under Notifications and API, select Subscriber activity notifications (profile setting).
- Adjust your settings. When finished, click Save preferences.
